We All Share The Lake
We ask our clients and fellow boaters to join us in being patient, mindful, and respectful. Together, we can create a safe and inclusive space where everyone can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.
Our Commitment to Long Lake
At Project Wake, we recognize that Long Lake is more than just a place to ride—it's a community that connects neighbours, families, and nature. We take our role on the water seriously and lead by example to ensure wake-surfing remains a fun but also a respectful, safe and well-stewarded outdoor activity for everyone.
What We Practice — And Encourage Others To Do
Surf Smart, Surf Wide
We only surf in the lake’s widest bays, where waves have room to naturally dissipate before reaching shore—avoiding narrow areas completely.
Share the Water
When we see neighbours enjoying non-motorized water sports like kayaking or paddleboarding, we pause our session until we’re safely clear.
Protect Wildlife Zones
We steer clear of shallow areas to avoid disrupting aquatic habitats. Deeper waters mean less ecological impact.
Keep It Down After Dark
We lower our music at 9:00 PM to respect the peace of our shoreline community.
