Who We Are
We are the only company in Northern Ontario that offers wake-surfing lessons! Project Wake serves the people of Greater Sudbury and surrounding areas with locations on Long Lake, Ramsey Lake and Clearwater Lake. We also offer a travelling service where we pack up our equipment and come right to your camp dock!
Project wake was established in 2020 by two adventurous, fun loving, local water-sports enthusiasts. The idea came from wanting to share our passion and excitement towards wake-surfing with those around us and offer this incredible opportunity to those that do not have easy access to a boat specifically designed for the sport.
Our goal is to help you build confidence in your abilities, foster a deeper appreciation for the outdoors and offer you an incredibly exhilarating and rewarding experience! Whether you come out to try wake-surfing for the first time, advance your skills on the wave, or just kick up your feet and turn up the music, our goal is to make your experience as fun, unique and unforgettable as possible. At the end of the day, what matters most is you having a great time!

Instructor
Bronwyn Mantle
I've loved the water for as long as I can remember, probably even before I could walk. At just four years old, my parents took me out on the boat, got right in the water with me so I felt comfortable and I waterskied for the very first time! As the years went by, every summer I spent my time developing my own skills on the water and teaching friends and family for fun. These days on the lake are some of my most special memories. Today, I share my passion with others, just as my parents did with me many years ago. I've dedicated much of my time to strengthening my abilities as a water-sports instructor to ensure I provide you with the best experience possible!

Alex Wright
Operation and management of a boat/ vessel is something I’ve done nearly my entire life. Growing up on Long Lake in Sudbury, my parents taught me that safety is always the first priority. After countless hours of practice and training, I’ve mastered the ability to operate safely even in the most difficult conditions. Its my goal to make your experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!
